Samsung Galaxy M10, Price, features and specifications

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M10 and M20 phones in India on January 28 as part of the newly minted Galaxy M series. These phones will fall in the affordable segment to take on the likes of Xiaomi and Realme and India Today Tech has just learnt the prices of both the devices. According to our sources, the Galaxy M10 will be priced at Rs 8,990 while the Galaxy M20 will cost Rs 12,990 in India.
This falls in line with past reports that the Galaxy M10 will fall under Rs 10,000. Our source did not reveal the storage and memory configuration of the Galaxy M10 and M20 phones. What past rumours have suggested is that the Galaxy M20 will come with 3GB of RAM with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. There may be more than one variant for each of these devices, and the prices confirmed to us by our sources are likely of the base models.
Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy M phones will launch as Amazon exclusive devices. The e-commerce platform has also revealed a few key design details as well.
Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy M10 and M20 will come with a waterdrop Infinity-V displays. These are the first Samsung phones to employ this new display, allowing the M series to offer something unique in the affordable segment. Both the Galaxy M phones are also said to come with dual rear cameras. However, it seems only the Galaxy M20 will offer a fingerprint sensor, while the Galaxy M10 will rely on face unlock as the only biometric option.
Past benchmark listing has told us that the Galaxy M20 will sport a 6.3-inch FHD+ (1080x2340) LCD display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 409 ppi. This is also rumoured to be the first Samsung phone to house a large 5,000mAh battery. The handset is said to measure 156.4 x 74.5 x 8.8 mm and weighs 183 grams.
The dual cameras on the Galaxy M20 may include a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor. The Galaxy M20 will reportedly get an Exynos 7885 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. Both the Galaxy M10 and M20 will most likely ship with Android Oreo rather than Android Pie with One UI.
